Connection Speeds

What are the factors which will affect the speed of my Totalsports.tv connection?

Our servers are based in the UK, and the connection speed will depend on your location and traffic. Other issues with connection such as bad weather conditions are usually temporary.

What is the ideal internet broadband bandwidth required in order for me to enjoy Totalsports.tv?

We would recommend a minimum broadband connection speed of 1.5 Mb. The streaming quality is based on the status of your current internet connection, and will automatically shift to a lower bit rate when connection slows down. Therefore, you will be able to watch the live stream on a lower broadband connection but expect the quality of the video to be effected slightly.

Is there an option for free trial of the available Video-on-Demand (VOD) options on Totalsports.tv?

That option is unfortunately not available. We would recommend that your view the ‘sneak preview’ when deciding any VOD purchases on Totalsports.tv.

Payment

Is the payment module in Totalsports.tv, secure?

Payment on Totalsports.tv is via two options with the first mode of payment being PayPal. PayPal is a trusted and well received online payment method which has received proven worldwide success. For more information regarding PayPal, log on to www.paypal.com.

The other mode of payment is listed as ‘via credit card’ on Totalsports.tv. This option is by the online payment service and solutions provider, ipay88.  For more information regarding ipay88 which includes security features or payment dispute settlement please log on to www.ipay88.com.

For more queries regarding both the payment methods, please write us via Contact.

I’ve subscribed to the VOD selection on Totalsports.tv but have not received a validation e-mail. What do I do?

Unfortunately, this sometimes occurs due to the email service you use which sends the validation email to your SPAM or junk mail folder. You may try looking in these folders and move it back to your mail folder. However, if this scenario doesn’t seem to be the case, do contact us via Contact and we’d be happy to assist you.

I’ve noticed that the cost of my VOD selection is in US Dollar (USD) but converts to Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) during the payment process via credit card. Why is that?

We are currently working on standardizing our payment transaction currency to USD. However, for the time being, all currencies will be converted to MYR and will follow the exchange rate of the payee’s bank/financial institution used during the payment transaction.

I’ve made a VOD purchase on Totalsports.tv but am unhappy with the services. Could I get a refund?

If you’re unhappy with this service for any reason, please contact us via Support, and describe the problems which you’ve faced with your VOD purchase. We will do our best to remedy the problem, failing which, we will definitely look at a refund option which will be at our discretion.

I seem to be facing problems when using the ipay88 credit card option – long cardholder validation process, transaction failure using multiple credit cards, etc. Why does this occur?

Ipay88 accepts any visa / mastercard (worldwide). However, the transaction process and approval are under the jurisdiction of the cardholders’ issuing bank. The problems faced with the online transactions usually occur due to the bank’s policies which are put in place for security purposes – prevention of fraudulent transaction etc.

We suggest that you contact your issuing bank to find out the processes to help you along with your transaction queries in relations to this topic.

Technical

I am facing some problems with loading the VOD. How can I get assistance?

Our customer service consultants can be reached via Support. To enable us to act quickly, please describe the problem you’re facing in as much details as possible. We are happy to help and will do so as promptly as possible. We truly appreciate your patience in these situations.

Why are some of the VOD not available to me?

This usually happens because the sport event video which you are trying access is hosted in your country/territory. The online streaming is not available in host countries because it is usually already available in your local broadcast television channels (terrestrial television and/or pay television).
